Open Days/Field Days

Midgee has welcomed over a 1000 schoolchildren since 1992 to educational activities during Casino Beef.  These visits have allowed city kids to pat a bull and get to know some of the show favourites.  A free sausage sizzle and cattle inspection during Beef Week is open to everyone.

Field days for clients have been offered whenever a change in the cattle industry provides a challenge for

new producers.  The most recent field day was on marketing as many new producers need to be introduced to commercially viable options in the marketing of their calves.Bob, Jan and Jodie are keen to follow up sales with reports from clients on their sold cattle and in assisting those who want help in managing and marketing their cattle. Please contact us with any news.
